Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics platform, and captures anonymised information about site visitors. This includes information about the pages visited, the duration of the visit, the device used, and a broad estimate of the visitors’ location. The Google Analytics IP anonymisation setting is enabled to ensure it does not store visitors’ complete IP addresses.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content. If you have an account and are logged in to that website, additional data may be captured.

Who we share your data with

We use Google Analytics to measure site visits, and Stripe to process donations. No other data is shared with any other service, platform or organisation.

How long we retain your data

If you use the contact or donate forms, the message and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is to enable a reply to your message if it is not successfully delivered to the inbox messages are directed to, and to correctly process donations.

All other information is anonymised.

What rights you have over your data

If you have used the contact form on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data you previously submitted. You can also request that we erase that personal data. This does not include any data our web host is obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Entries on the contact form may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
